SMART is an acronym that is used to guide you to set specific objectives for a project. Your specific objectivesshould be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time bound.

Specific objectives are at the core of your project. Grant writing for a project starts with setting your SMARTspecific objectives. If your SMART specific objectives are clear, you aremaximizing your chances at being selected for a grant. Your SMART objectives will guide all activities and the logic of the project.

The first part will be about theory, going through the logic of a project, including practical examples of vocabulary to use and choice of indicators.

The second part will be your opportunity to draft your SMART objective for your project in a group exercise. This workshop is an opportunity to exchange ideas and get feedback from other participants to gain a fresh perspective on your project SMART objectives.
