St. Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association

The St. Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association (SHTA) is the largest private business representative on the island. We are dedicated to bringing quality for all St. Maarteners by stimulating a sustainable economy, a healthy, beautiful island and good governance. The SHTA is known for its events: Crystal Pineapple Awards (CPA), rewarding excellent members of the Sint Maarten community and business life. It helps St. Maarten educational talent apply by its partnership in the CHTAEF fund. SHTA annually organizes fundraisers enabling local culinary talent to take part in the National Culinary Team of Sint Maarten for the prestigious regional Taste of the Caribbean competition in Miami.
